6. Sting ~ $600,000

Ordinarily, I'd suggest $600,000 a year was a little on the low side for a genuine legend of the industry like Sting. However, for a man over 50 working two and a half matches across twelve months, it's really not a bad pay packet.

Despite his extremely limited schedule, the money was probably a far more intelligent investment than $450,000 a year for TV regular Braun Strowman. The prospect of seeing Sting in a WWE ring (not necessarily the prospect of seeing him being beat in a WWE ring) was enough to whet the appetites of even the most lapsed of wrestling fans, and no doubt contributed to WrestleMania 31's huge $12.6 million gross. Having Sting on board can't have harmed Network subscriber numbers either.

Nevertheless, for the vast majority of us, over half a million dollars to work about 14 days across the whole year is quite the dividend. Heading into retirement post WrestleMania 32, there's absolutely no reason for Sting to be stingy.
