10 WWE Spin-Offs That Deserve A Reboot

10. Talking Smack

Talking Smack was tagged onto the back of WWE's revived brand extension in 2016 and assigned to follow SmackDown LIVE every week, capturing all the fallout from the night's events.

The show came with barely any expectations - as many new contributions on the WWE Network do - so when it actually turned out to be some of the best programming WWE had created in years, fans were right to be champing at the bit for the next iteration of the show.

Offering stars like The Miz, Kevin Owens and The Usos the freedom to shoot from the hip - and cut promos that didn't sound like they were straight out of a bad Disney movie - it was clear that WWE had a genuinely fresh concept on their hands.

That's why in early 2018 - when the show was officially given the chop - fans were left pulling out their hair.

In a move that proved to only add fire to the ever growing theory that Vince McMahon was finding joy in trolling his devoted fanbase, Talking Smack was yet another victim of the ever changing will of WWE.

WWE Backstage was then brought into existence in 2019 - off the back of SmackDown's move to FOX - and has given former Talking Smack host Renee Young another platform to get talent over without a script.

Sadly, the new show just doesn't possess the same level of unpredictability/fun that Young and Daniel Bryan's ball pit did and with Bryan now wrestling again, it doesn't look like this reboot will be happening any time soon.
