8. The Usos

Is there a more stale act than The Usos in 2016?

They only started regularly performing on Pay Per View in 2013, and while that is a lifetime by today's standards, it feels more like an age. Their characters are so one-dimensional, their in-ring routine so skewed towards eliciting a positive reaction, that it's difficult to conceive of how they'd actually make the transition to the dark side.

But make it they must - they are seemingly allergic to character development, and are dangerously close to generating X-Pac 2001 levels of yawn-inducing, channel-changing heat. Or, worse, still, complete indifference. They still manage to engage the crowd in their call and response entrance routine, but then again, so does R-Truth. It means very little.

WWE might be reluctant to turn them face until the rot sets in to an irrevocable extent - at which point it may be too late. They shift not inconsiderable quantities of merchandise, and have a marketable look which has seen them used as the face of 5 Hour Energy.

That said, even the iron will of WWE may not be impervious to the prospect of the Roman Reigns-led heel faction which is currently staring them in the face.
