10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need To Switch Brands
3. Randy Orton
Randy Orton has long been a face of the SmackDown brand, the Ruthless Aggression Era veteran who has selflessly called the company's B-show "home" on numerous occasions throughout his Hall of Fame career. This latest brand extension has been no different.
The Viper has done everything from feuding with Bray Wyatt in the most ludicrous of storylines to attempting to establish Jinder Mahal as a legitimate WWE champion through a series of high-profile main events. He has worked every top star the brand has to offer and RKO'd several others.
But it is time for Orton to return to the Raw brand, where his star can be exploited in the biggest matches against the most recognizable stars in the company.
Orton was instrumental in getting Roman Reigns over as a singles competitor back in 2014, and a series against someone like Braun Strowman or Jason Jordan (upon his return from injury) could do wonders to elevate their stars to the absolute peak of WWE. He could also return some genuine star power to a show that, though rife with talent, has lacked that one consistent cornerstone.
At the very least, it would restore his sense of significance as currently, he seems lost on a booking treadmill on Tuesday nights.
