Yikes, Kofi Kingston has been on the downswing for a few years in WWE, but right now he means next to nothing. If he didnt show up on TV for six months, how many fans would even notice? From a pure match standpoint, Kofi is in the exact same spot he was last year at WrestleMania: The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. And again, theres virtually no chance of him winning the trophy. Over the past year, it was teased that Kofi was going to turn heel along with Big E and Xavier Woods. It could have been a nice career move for him, and let him show if he has more range as a character. WWE oddly gave up on that idea, and re-debuted the group as the always positive, always happy, alwjays nauseating to watch New Day. It flopped hard on arrival, and continues to embarrass the three talented men. Its doubtful that Kofi can fall much further by the time WrestleMania 32 comes around, so the company will either continue to push him as a non-factor, give him a bit of a push again, or just let him go.
