10 WWE Stars Who Made Terrible Actors

8. Ted DiBiase

WWE officials saw big things in Ted DiBiase from his arrival on Raw in mid-2008. He won the World Tag Team Championship with Cody Rhodes in his debut match and aligned with Randy Orton to form The Legacy later on in the ring. Not convinced the powers that be were high on him? He was cast in the role of Joe Linwood in "The Marine 2" only months removed from being brought up to the main roster. He missed only two months of TV time and was expected to be pushed aggressively upon his return. He wasn't. DiBiase's babyface push was always rumored but never came to fruition. He was cast as a background player once The Legacy disbanded and went nowhere as a singles competitor. By the time he turned face in late 2011, it was too late. His performance in "The Marine 2" was subpar at best and it wasn't entirely his fault. I mean, how can you go from John Cena to Ted DiBiase? Needless to say, it didn't boost his profile as much as many thought it would. He left WWE on his own terms in August 2013.
