10 WWE Stars Who MUST Be Thinking About Jumping Ship To AEW

10. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander's time in WWE has been a kaleidoscope of ups and downs. Here's a guy who started his WWE career in the best way possible by garnering a "Please sign Cedric" chant from the audience after his fantastic performance in the Cruiserweight Classic. Then he moved on to 205 Live and did respectably, with Cruiserweight Championship reign. But, in the end, as most promising upstarts do in WWE, he ended up losing direction.

After a while of tottering about in the Raw midcard, he would find new life under the umbrella of the Hurt Business, and it seemed like he was finally heading somewhere great. Then, as they are want to do, WWE spontaneously broke the group apart, and Cedric is now back to having no sense of direction.

It's got to be frustrating for Alexander, as his debut felt like the embers of a soon to be roaring fire, but he was pushed into a corner by creative. AEW must seem like a promised land for him, as he could get way more exposure and even the chance to wrestle against some amazing talent.

While his former tag partner Shelton Benjamin must be thinking the same, his tenure with the company likely means he's more used to it, whereas Cedric still has so much potential ahead of him.
