10 WWE Stars Who Should Be Pissed Off At Life Right Now

7. The Ascension

NXT is the ultimate breeding ground for WWE's main roster, or at least that's the general idea. Management must feel that if acts catch fire in development, they have a very good chance of doing so once they move upwards to shows like Raw and Smackdown. Sadly, The Ascension have proved that this requires those in charge to actually get behind the performers too. Upon their main roster debut in late 2014, Konnor and Viktor appeared to be cast as badass heels in the same vein as The Legion Of Doom, Powers Of Pain or Demolition. Once they entered the ring, the comparisons stopped, not helped by JBL's persistent claims that they were nothing special. This was completely at odds with the presentation, and only succeeded in making the team look like they didn't belong on the main roster. Fast forward to 2016, and they're even lower down the WWE totem pole. The company didn't even book a meaningful reason for them hanging out with Stardust, the tandem just sort of began appearing by his side. Known as 'The Cosmic Wasteland', the group come across like bigger jobbers than even The Social Outcasts - and that's their gimmick! The Ascension should, quite rightly, be annoyed at how they've been used.
