10 WWE Superstars Badly In Need Of A Character Reboot

2. Bubba Ray Dudley

Anyone that witnessed Bubba Ray Dudley's singles run in TNA as a two-time World Heavyweight Champion can see that WWE has not utilised the former Bully Ray to his full potential. Bully Ray was the best thing about TNA during his run as their champ and at one point, he was as hot as any heel in the business. Don't get me wrong, Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley have a combined legacy that can be rivalled only by the Road Warriors; that's how influential and important the The Dudley Boyz's career has been. But as a singles competitor, Bubba Ray could be a monster heel in WWE, if only for a short while, that would be more than capable of building up new stars. The Dudley Boyz recent heel turn created a glimmer of hope that WWE may head down this path, but so far WWE seems to have more interest in The Dudley Boyz as a team rather than Bubba on his own. The company is likely to benefit more by booking Bubba as a big bully heel where he can eventually put over some up-and-coming singles stars rather than continuing to job him to teams like The Hype Bros and Jack Swagger & Mark Henry. The Dudley Boyz as a team seem to have run their nostalgic course. Splitting the team up could extend the shelf-life of one Bubba Ray Dudley, a man who has the potential to be a very big deal indeed.
