What is the f***ing point of R-Truth? As hard as the WWE has tried over the past year or so to insert him into various storylines, he's an outdated relic with no place in today's WWE. His antics during the build up to WrestleMania last year were embarrassing, and seeing him comically tip toeing around the ring and stealing the Intercontinental Championship was nothing short of cringe inducing (it also made that ladder match feel like a complete joke, and his forgettable performance in the match speaks volumes about what an underwhelming talent he is). All of the above also applies to Truth's childish feud with King Barrett earlier this year, and if his recent matches against Alberto Del Rio prove anything, it's that he doesn't even have the ability to entertain in the ring at this point. While some of his gimmicks have fared better than others, R-Truth has never been someone who delivers anything more than C-Level matches, so he's got pretty much nothing going for him. Throw in the fact that Truth is 43, and there's no way he's going to make it into 2017 as part of the WWE. There are way too many entertaining acts already on the main roster and a very long list just months away from debuting courtesy of NXT, so it shouldn't take much longer for the company to realise they've milked this Superstar for all he's worth, and the axe will bring a merciful end to his career before he outstays his welcome any more than he already has.
