10 WWE Superstars Who Were Pushed Way Too Early

8. Sheamus

Sheamus is definitely a talented powerhouse who will likely be around for a long time, but when he first arrived on the scene, WWE threw him into the main event scene way too quickly. Winning the WWE Championship within a few months of his initial debut in ECW was a questionable move to say the least. He was a big guy with a lot of enviable physical attributes, but he wasn't ready to lead the company as its top champion. Fans simply didn't know what to think about the pale Irishman who had seemingly come out of nowhere and defeated Cena for the belt. He didn't have the level of heat a heel champion should have and he was still a little stiff on the mic. Just like anyone who is pushed to the title too quickly, he eventually found himself demoted back down to the mid-card scene. Over the past few years, Sheamus has racked up an impressive number of championships and big victories, but he could have been even more successful had WWE not pulled the trigger with him too quickly.
