This one is of course geographically specific. The crowd in attendance at Super Showdown seemed to be wild for Mansoor’s Battle Royale win. Since then, he’s not even turned up on NXT, let alone troubled the main roster. It seems what goes on in Saudi Arabia, stays in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Sports Authority would probably welcome a Roman Reigns style super push for Mansoor, even if it only played out two nights a year.

So if WWE want to to pop a Saudi crowd but don’t want to worry about pesky things like continuity or sustained pushes, why not let Mansoor be King for a day?
