3. Hulk Hogan

Where to start with this one... even though Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon made plenty of magic while working together, Hogan has also had his boss at his mercy plenty of times throughout history.

What about the dispute over his No Holds Barred Salary? In what was Vince's first big move outside of wrestling, things didn't go as well as expected. Vince hoped that the massive $1 million salary promised to Hogan could be renegotiated, but Hulk insisted that he receive his full pay.

Vince not only paid up, but he also made The Hulkster his new golden goose, if you will.

Then of course we have the burying of the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6, where he kicked out a millisecond after the three count and proceeded to hog the spotlight afterwards. Way to pass the torch to make a new star, right?
