10 WWE Superstars Who Hated Their Own Moves

10. Terri Runnels - Bronco Buster

When Terri Runnels first appeared on WWF television back in 1996, she performed under the name Marlena as real-life husband Dustin 'Goldust' Runnels' manager.

However, once WWF went into full 'Attitude' mode a couple of years later, Runnels was tasked with wearing a skimpy outfit and performing a Bronco Buster on her rivals.

When Runnels was recently reminded of this period after a fan posted a video on Twitter of the former WWE employee performing the move on Jerry Lawler, she replied to the tweet by saying that she 'HATED DOING THOSE!'

It's obvious that this sort of thing was done in order to please the type of audience the company were aimed at back then. Looking back, though, you can't help but cringe at the idea of women being made to perform moves on middle-aged men which involved them slamming their crotches into their faces.

Thankfully, the company has completely moved away from blatantly objectifying the women who perform under the WWE banner (well, mostly) and the likes of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will definitely not be asked to perform moves like this on grinning male colleagues ever again.
