Tyson Kidd suffered a life-threatening neck injury last year during a match with Samoa Joe. The former Hart Dynasty member had to undergo immediate surgery and the future of his life and long-term health was uncertain.

Thankfully, Kidd avoided paralysis and the surgery was able to save Tyson's life, but his career remains in serious jeopardy.

Just before his injury, Tyson was experiencing the best run of his WWE career as part of ever-growing in popularity tag team with Cesaro. The duo had successfully defended their WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 31 before losing them to The New Day at Extreme Rules.
