Consider Apollo Crews one of WWE's most unlikely pushes in 2019. After suffering through the indignity of being Titus O'Neil's little buddy, Crews looks set to have more luck this year than he has over the previous two since coming up from NXT. Don't be surprised if Apollo gets a title run somewhere during his push.
The most plausible is Raw's Intercontinental belt. That is, after all, the brand Crews works on, and barring a move to SmackDown it's still his best bet. Dean Ambrose isn't going to hold the thing all year, and with Seth Rollins possibly moving up the ladder there's room for others to have a shot at Monday night's secondary strap.
Our prediction is that Apollo will bag the belt later in the year. Reports from the Wrestling Observer guess his push will be slow-burn rather than a lightning-fast one anyway, so it makes perfect sense to believe he'll be given a run of wins first.
