10 WWE Superstars Who Would Flourish In Lucha Underground
10. Kalisto
Of course, the lucha libre style is Lucha Underground's bread and butter, with many of the program's top stars coming from Mexico's AAA promotion. Pentagon Jr., Fenix, King Cuerno and countless others all made a name for themselves on the Mexican wrestling scene before getting extra exposure through Lucha Underground.
As such, Kalisto being a good fit for the show is academic.
Kalisto's singles run in WWE so far has been marred by various stop-start pushes. Although he has an NXT Tag Team Championship, a Cruiserweight Championship, and two United States Championship reigns to his credit, fans continue to sleep on how skilled the former Samuray del Sol actually is.
Granted, he has a nice thing going right now with Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado on 205 Live, but imagine how much more of an impact those three could make in the trios division in Lucha Underground. They'd undoubtedly give current Trios champions Killshot, Dante Fox and The Mack a run for their money.
