10 WWE Superstars Who'd Be Better Off In The Indies (Or Overseas)

7. Adrian Neville

It's an arguable point that Adrian Neville was a failure as NXT Champion. Sure, he's got the look and the athleticism, but it's doubtful that he truly connects with the WWE Universe on a human level. He still appears nervous when being interviewed, as he feels weighed down by all of the perceived slights against him ever getting over. WWE would be wise to - prior to his debut - doing something like letting Neville work high-profile independent dates. The idea here is that the company would work it out with independent promoters that Neville be booked as a heel and be forced to cut promos and interact with crowds - without being as dependent on highspots - prior to being called up to the main roster. Giving Neville a plethora of different types of crowds to work in front of in order to gain more confidence in what will be likely the most key tool in his WWE arsenal is of utmost importance.
