10 WWE Superstars You Didn't Know Wrestled In New Japan

5. The Dudley Boyz

As the most celebrated tag team of the generation, The Dudley Boyz' exploits are written in history. They've captured multiple tag team championships wherever they've wrestled - eight in ECW, ten in WWE (including one with the WCW World Tag Team Championship), three in TNA, and two in New Japan. As part of TNA's partnership with New Japan, the Dudleys (then Team 3D) competed for the company, winning the IWGP Tag Team Titles from Togi Makabe and Toru Yano at Wrestle Kingdom III. Their reign was controversial - six months in, The Dudley Boyz lost the belts in TNA to Magnus and Doug Williams in a change that was not agreed to by New Japan. After some friction between the companies, NJPW finally recognized Magnus and Williams's reign, which soon ended at the hands of The Dudley Boyz. They'd hold the titles until Wrestle Kingdom IV, where they lost them to Tetsuya Naito and Yujiro Takahashi.
