Countries like Israel, the United Kingdom, and, crucially, the United States, have made incredible strides in their vaccination roll-out. Barring a major, vaccine-breaking mutation, normal life (or whatever "normal life" resembles after our year of darkness) is within touching distance - and fully-attended shows are on the horizon.

WrestleMania 37 was a welcome reminder of what wrestling events are supposed to be like. The ThunderDome looks, sounds, and feels a lot nicer than the old Performance Center events, and its implementation was a necessary boon to WWE during this difficult period, but nothing compares to even a half-full arena. Tampa's 25,000 voices helped WWE programming feel more alive and organic than they have in over a year and while the company was wise not to immediately dive into attended shows afterwards, it won't be long before they do.

WWE (and other promotions) will likely prioritise this as soon as it's deemed safe to do so, as failing to following protocols would be disastrous. Expect companies to exercise caution, at least for the next few months, before the floodgates open with the first big announcement.
