Perhaps the most obvious dream match because in essence, John Cena isn't just a part of the WWE, he is the WWE. Tanahashi isn't just another wrestler in New Japan's locker room, he is New Japan.

Ask anyone of a certain age in the US, wrestling fan or otherwise, to name a professional wrestler and chances are they'll say Cena. Ask anyone of that same demographic in Japan, and they'll probably give you Tanahashi.
