Starting with a clash which showcases the fusion of talents NXT has historically spotlighted, but also two women who carry a contrasting legacy in comparison to their current positions among WWE's female ranks.

On one hand, Charlotte Flair is the genetically superior daughter who emerged as an early product of the WWE Performance Centre and has since risen to the top echelon of stars in the WWE - irrespective of gender. Candice LeRae is the charming 18-year independent scene veteran yet to receive an extended push as a top star in NXT. The yellow and black brand has a strong pool of rising female stars, but LeRae stands as one of the few established characters in NXT's women's division.
