This was covered in a previous column, but one man stands above all others in terms of futility at WrestleMania.

Goldust is 0-9 at Mania, losing all five matches and being eliminated from all four Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royals. Goldust’s first loss came all the way back at WM XII, losing a Backlot Brawl to Roddy Piper (though you could argue that there was no decision since Goldy was stripped and then fled).

Even though he’s had a terrible record, Goldust deserves some credit for competing in WrestleManias 20-plus years apart and still looking good doing it in the process.
