10 WWE Wrestlers The Internet Loves (But Vince McMahon Hates)

10. Drew Gulak

Drew Gulak had one of the most distinct and brilliant characters that any wrestler had to offer in 2017. The PowerPoint gimmick, while silly, was extremely entertaining and got the technical genius over with audiences. During the 205 Live crossovers of Raw in late 2017, Gulak was one of the only performers who got a chance to stand out as a distinctive character, showcasing his natural charisma and genuinely funny demeanour.

After losing that aspect of his character, Gulak worked hard to showcase his wrestling acumen, delivering every time he wrestled and eventually getting a long-overdue Cruiserweight Championship reign as the brand transitioned to NXT. After dropping the belt, he went to Smackdown where he'd hopefully be able to impress audiences with his comedic and wrestling talents.

He was immediately used as a jobber and largely kept off of TV until a feud with Daniel Bryan got him a PPV showcase. While that match was acclaimed and only increased Gulak's acclaim, creative did nothing with him and since contract renegotiations earlier in the year, Gulak has been trapped in the lifeless 24/7 division. It's a shame that he's in a company that doesn't understand his worth.
