10 WWE Wrestlers We Want To See In RETRIBUTION

The miscreants and malcontents who'd make RETRIBUTION a success.

By Logan Kenny /

No one really knows what to make of this new stable, RETRIBUTION, yet. They have caused some incidents on Raw and Smackdown, disrupting the WWE system and igniting comparatively minor feats of chaos so far in their run. So far, none of their faces have been revealed, their intent is unknown and the potential of their success is up in the air.

It is a good thing that WWE is attempting to work a long-term storyline during the empty arena era, storylines to look forward to every week are a guaranteed way to increase viewership, and RETRIBUTION’s antics could utilise the empty arena aesthetic for true destruction.

It could be over within a few weeks without resolution like the Smackdown hacker or Roman Reigns’ attacker, but if it does succeed and have characters introduced, these are some of the talents who could help cement the stable as a guiding force for current stars who deserve more, and new stars who could really make something of themselves through a hot new unit.

This will only contain active WWE wrestlers, so no currently retired performers like CM Punk or any free agents...

10. Dominik Dijakovic

Dominik Dijakovic should have done better in NXT. A gigantic heavyweight who has incredible strength, great movement and the ability to work distinct matches with a variety of workers. While his feud with Keith Lee led to Lee eventually becoming the face of NXT, Dijakovic has been lost in the shuffle, having character changes scrapped, months off of TV and recently being used to further Karrion Kross’ cruelty.

This attack from Karrion Kross would be a great way to write him off NXT and transition him back into being a terrifying force of primal destruction, becoming a force on the main roster as RETRIBUTION’s powerhouse. He would work as a gutturally effecting heel on either Raw or Smackdown, able to have hoss matches with men like Drew McIntyre, or fling around smaller men like AJ Styles with reckless abandon.

He wouldn’t need to do much mic work in this role, and getting to be part of an interesting stable would give him an angle to ensure he wouldn’t get lost in the midcard like he did in NXT. Dijakovic is really good, and has the potential to be even better. Hopefully he’ll find it in RETRIBUTION.
