The night before Bound For Glory, at McHale’s Pub in New York City, Impact veteran and the longest tenured member of the roster, Abyss, was added to the hallowed hall. The former monster gave a heartwarming speech during the ceremony, thanking many others that helped him and the company throughout the years.

However, Abyss’ honor was overshadowed when the night quickly turned sour as the Impact Champion took the microphone to lambast Johnny Impact for going on TMZ Live to discuss their ongoing feud both in and out of the ring - including Austin Aries’ controversial remarks on Twitter about Taya Valkyrie. The two men quickly erupted in a shoving and shouting match as Impact officials and wrestlers, including Abyss, attempted to separate the them before Aries was finally forced outside.
