11. Will Backlund Learn The Truth?

Two weeks ago, Titus O’Neil grabbed a handful of tights to steal a pinfall victory from former tag partner Darren Young. Darren’s life coach Bob Backlund was apoplectic and got in Titus’ face backstage, prompting O’Neil to threaten the Hall of Famer. That drew an attack and a rematch with Young last week.

Young managed to return the favor, winning by pulling the tights. Backlund didn’t see the infraction, however. Given Mr. Backlund’s reaction to Titus cheating, how would he react if he actually saw his pupil doing the same thing? The video on WWE.com made it pretty clear that not only did he not see the act, Darren didn’t want him to.

So will Backlund finally find his way to a replay machine to see what actually happened? And if so, how will he react? A 90s-era Mr. Backlund freakout might be upon us.
