If you thought that WWE giving Chavo Guerrero Snr the Crusierweight title in 2004 was meant to be an honour, you'd be mistaken. It was in fact a way of ribbing Chavo Jnr (who lost the title to his Dad) and a way of poking fun at the elderly 'Chavo Classic'. Chavo Classic lost the title to Rey Mysterio a month later and was let go from WWE soon after. His entire portrayal on WWE television was that of an old Mexican fool. He was a joke act. In reality, Chavo Snr should have been remembered as one of the great workers of his era and region. He was a cornerstone in the Guerrero family, but WWE fans will only remember him as an elderly joke on Chavo Jnr.
