2. The Punjabi Prison
The Punjabi Prison is one of WWE's least engaging gimmick matches. The structure itself looks unique, but that is where the compliments must end. It is difficult enough watching a Punjabi Prison match on television - for the live audience this must be completely impossible.
The visibility for this match was awful. How can you charge so much money for tickets, yet present a main event that is impossible to watch? I don't mean that in terms of the quality of the match, I mean literally impossible to watch. This was a huge insult to the WWE Universe.
For some reason, the main event between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton went 28 minutes. Twenty Eight Minutes! Two of WWE's least dynamic workers were given almost half an hour to work a match that barely anyone was able to see. Is this supposed to be a joke? Is WWE looking to see how much its audience will put up with?
Once again the Singh Brothers stole the show with their bumping, Samir taking the huge fall off the structure, but it wasn't enough to save this mess. Yet another WWE main event cage match, a gimmick designed to stop interference, ended with interference.
One can only hope that this is the last Punjabi Prison match we will ever have to sit through.
