In truth, many 93 - 99 Raw moments were telegraphed ahead of time. That had to do with WWE recording several Raw shows at once, and WCW or dirtsheets then giving the spoilers away. Even when Raw was live, you could often see the direction things were headed. For example, Stone Cold Steve Austin's animosity with Mr McMahon was a slow build and long term angle. When he finally decked the boss with a stunner, it had been expected. But a couple of years later, when he drove a massive beer truck into the Raw arena on the March 22nd 1999 show, nobody saw that coming! How could anyone have ever predicted this insane angle! Austin drove the Coors Light truck to the ring, pulled out a hose, and doused McMahon in gallons of beer.The unpredictability resulted in one of Raw's most raucous reactions ever, and the visual was one that remains etched into wrestling folklore.
