CM Punk has his fingers in many, many pies throughout the entertainment industry, so it's not at all surprising that he just wrapped his first leading role, starring in haunted house horror flick The Girl on the Third Floor.

Punk will play Don Koch, a flawed husband and expectant father who finds himself lured into self-destructive tendencies with the arrival of a flirtatious temptress. Producer Greg Newman has called Punk a "natural fit for the lead", and given the God-tier mic skills he possesses, that's not remotely surprising.

It's not likely the movie will get anything more than a quiet VOD release, but that doesn't mean it won't be a killer showcase for Punk's intense acting chops regardless.
