Because Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows tanked at the box office, Sheamus sadly won't be reprising his surprisingly entertaining performance as Rocksteady any time soon, so he now finds himself starring in a WWE Studios production, The Buddy Games.
The comedy sees a group of friends reunited for a competition comprising a series of mental and physical challenges, and it goes without saying that Sheamus should be one of the film's most fierce competitors.
The surprisingly stacked cast also includes Olivia Munn, Dax Shepard, Jensen Ackles, Neal McDonough, Kevin Dillon, Nick Swarsdon and Josh Duhamel (who also serves as writer-director).
It's always best to keep your expectations low with WWE-produced movies, but at least it looks like it'll quite literally play to the superstar's strengths.
