11 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 31 - Review)
10. The Elite Respond To Double Or Nothing Defeat
Matt Jackson's recap of the pain he endured (and was willing to dish out) during Double Or Nothing's main event kicked off an awesome post-pay-per-view response from the "heart and soul" of AEW as they tried to make sense of everything that happened on Sunday.
In a segment loaded with development and Elite lore (TM), an economic minute and a half found the group teasing the Blackpool Combat Club into a rematch by calling into question their real toughness, before Hangman Page was interrupted by a p*ssed off Dark Order looking for answers about his loyalty. Flapped by their interjection, he then revealed that Kenny Omega wasn't back home in Canada as reported, but somewhere else.
It didn't take much detective work to figure out where exactly Page was implying he might be, but even if Japan wasn't the location being left to linger, the actual destination could make for another unique twist. Blood & Guts and Forbidden Door are on the way, and these particular stories could easily be folded into both outcomes. Especially when Omega intimated that he was going to find two friends to deal with the problem.
