11 WWE Returns Confirmed For Raw Is XXX
WWE confirms legends, icons, and The Road Dogg for their 30th Anniversary "Raw Is XXX" special.
Not to break the sacred rules of clickbait in the introduction, but The Rock isn't on this list.
'The Great One' was teased-but-not-teased for next week's special edition of Monday Night Raw, with "every generation of The Bloodline" promised for a Roman Reigns-led "acknowledgment ceremony".
Ultimately, the bit will surely act as a Royal Rumble go-home segment for 'The Tribal Chief's Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Kevin Owens, as well as a vehicle to ratchet up the tension with Sami Zayn as the "Honorary Uce", but this smartly folds the idea of The Rock into the feud for the very first time, and right as the company are going full throttle on their vaunted Road To WrestleMania.
All of this merely hangs in the air due to the reality that if WWE absolutely 100% had 'The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment' for a live appearance, they'd absolutely 100% promote him. He might get a mention, or be kept as a surprise for the Royal Rumble, but Raw ratings are too precious for the organisation not to make the most of his presence on the show.
So The Rock isn't on this list, but some of his old opponents are...
10. Kurt Angle
'The Olympic Hero' was on WWE screens as recently as December 2022, with a special episode designed around celebrating his birthday in his hometown of Pittsburgh. Alpha Academy were victims of his milk-based madness that night, but a recent babyface turn for the team might result in the two sides mending fences in what could be quite a funny bit.
