Often incorrectly attributed to alt rock act Nada Surf, this song is based-on a 1983 feud between Harley Race and Ric Flair.

Race, the paranoid champion, offered a $25,000 bounty to anyone who could rid the NWA of Flair, with Bob Orton Jr. and Dick Slater eventually beating Ric into a short-lived retirement to claim the cash.

Lyrically recounting Race’s bounty-setting promo over a chaotic backdrop, noise rock isn’t exactly the first genre you’d equate with professional wrestling, but it’s a cool perspective nonetheless.
