http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xv8ufa This one is a bit of a cheat. Wildman Marc Mero actually debuted at WrestleMania XII in a backstage interview. The following night, he would have his in-ring debut on the Raw After WrestleMania against Isaac Yankem, better known today as Kane. Had Mero debuted in the ring at Mania, this wouldnt even be considered. But a backstage interview lasting barely a minute is an odd, unconventional way to debut. It served to establish a feud with Hunter Hearst Helmsley over his valet, the also-debuting Sable. Meros Raw debut introduced the viewing audience to him as a performer and character, complete with Vince McMahons histrionics on play-by-play. Call WrestleMania the preview for the full debut on Raw for Mero. His WWF tenure would last less than four years, but he would bring Sable to the WWF with him, so that alone was a huge contribution to the company.
