12 Biggest WWE Championship Change Squashes

12. Kane & Undertaker vs. DDP & Kanyon - WWF Tag Team Titles (SummerSlam 2001)

The Invasion angle could be (and probably has been) the subject of numerous column here, but it€™s fair to say that one of the worst parts of it was the poor booking of WCW€™s biggest start to crossover, Diamond Dallas Page. He was never booked on anything resembling equal footing with the Undertaker, which led to a completely one-sided feud that no one cared about. When one of the men in a feud loses to the other guy€™s wife, you know you€™ve got a bad feud. At one point, DDP and Kanyon managed to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. Then they got locked in a steel cage with the Brothers of Destruction, who happened to hold the WCW tag titles at the time. While the match itself lasted for 10 minutes, it was an absolute slaughter. Kane and Taker sold next to nothing, barely gave them any offense and just obliterated the Jersey duo. After letting Kanyon escape, the two behemoths destroyed DDP. And then Sara got to come in and lay the verbal smackdown on Page, because being squashed wasn€™t humiliating enough.
