12 Current WWE Stars Who Could Be Legends Reborn

6. The Miz - Bobby Heenan

This probably isn€™t the analogy that Mike Mizanin would choose for himself, but you need to face facts. As an in-ring performer, he is merely a serviceable worker who can have good matches when placed with the right opponents. He€™s not someone who€™s going to wow crowds with his ability or put on timeless classics that will be remembered for decades to come. What he is however is a top notch jerkface who oozes unwarranted arrogance and breeds contempt in the fans. If only he could translate the heat he draws as a personality into his matches he€™d be one of the top heels in the business. As it stands now, he€™s simply just a midcard guy that€™s fun to boo but has no real importance to the show. That needs to change. The Miz€™s future worth to WWE doesn€™t lie in the ring, it€™s outside the squared circle as this generation€™s Bobby Heenan. The Brain was a heat-seeking missile who automatically raised the profile of any of his charges just through association. Men like King Kong Bundy, Hercules Hernandez and The Red Rooster enjoyed a higher status by being a member of the vaunted Heenan Family. Bobby himself was a great worker who took awesome bumps but his real strength was in his heel promos, playing the weasel role to perfection. The Miz has all those same traits in abundance, and could be of much greater use managing a stable of wrestlers, transferring his heat onto his charges and getting them over by proxy. It's not the role he envisions for himself as a lifelong WWE fan, but he'd knock it out of the park.
