12 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (July 2)

Roman Reigns was hurled into an ambulance! Asuka suplexed Nikki Cross off a ladder through a table!

Wrestling probably should be in a summer lull right now but it seems like many wrestlers and promotions are doing their best to heat things up. WWE had women headline three straight nights of Raw, SmackDown Live, and NXT, which by itself is a notable feat. Those main events were not only a cool milestone in women's wrestling but they were also the source of exciting action. Both Tamina Snuka and Asuka found their place on among the best spots, both doing so while using a ladder.

In the former TNA, news of the final stages of the transition to Global Force Wrestling caught many by surprise. That change didn't stop Bobby Lashley from showing off some edge while suplexing Eddie Edwards. A mid-move taunt by The Destroyer might've been blurred out by the time it made air on Impact but it was still funny enough to chart.

Joining the ladies' use of ladders as well as Bobby's taboo finger, Braun re-introduced Roman to an ambulance, Punishment Martinez pulled off an impressive Last Ride Powerbomb, and Swoggle proved to Rockstar Spud that he didn't need pants to go through a table. There were even a couple of last-minute additions from Night 1 of the G1 USA show. All that and more lie ahead among the 12 most insane spots of the week.

12. Bad Catch By The Lizard

In his first round matchup in the Cueto Cup against the reptilian Vibora, Paul London springboarded backward towards his massive opponent. What makes this spot a standout is the Rabbit Tribe leader's landing. He must've had too much momentum because Vibora had a little trouble bringing Paul safely down for a landing. He should really think twice about what species he's lunging back towards.

Thanks to interference by his bunny buddies, London went on to advance in this tournament via countout win.
