12 New Year's Resolutions For WWE Superstars

12. Brock Lesnar Resolves To UFC Return

While he may not be available to fight again until late in the summer thanks to his suspension after failing a USADA drug test, Brock Lesnar should definitely resound himself to returning to the octagon for yet another run. Vince McMahon and WWE provided surprisingly little resistance when The Beast stepped back in the cage for UFC 200, and it’s a win-win for both companies to have him pull double duty.

Lesnar looked great against veteran striker Mark Hunt, and proved that even after sitting out of the sport for several years he can still compete at a high level thanks to his freakish athleticism and wrestling pedigree.

Brock Lesnar occupies the rare air alongside Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey and Georges St. Pierre as the biggest draws the UFC has ever had, and if the competitive fire still burns within him – and I think it does – there’s no reason why he shouldn’t make a return to the UFC in 2017 as the sport’s biggest heel.
