There was an outstanding TV promo in which Baron Corbin told the NXT Universe that he was a millionaire ex-football player who wanted to crush people's dreams. At that point, the whole, "motorcycle bar brawler" gimmick that Corbin had should've died, and there should've been expensive suits, silk ties and maybe even a haircut added to Corbin's look. The main problem with Baron Corbin in NXT is that we're consistently not given a reason to care about the exact reason that he came to NXT. In a wacky case of creative NOT listening to what the talent are saying as opposed to what box they want to put them in, valuable opportunities to make a superstar out of a performer that THEY WANT TO MAKE A SUPERSTAR are being missed.
