Chicago is still the king of wrestling crowds.

This was proven on last night's Dynamite, as AEW entered CM Punk's domain for the first time since Brawl Out. That The Elite were on the card opposite Death Triangle heightened the situation. Context meant that the audience's reactions to that specific match was the most interesting question heading into the show, even with two title fights on the lineup - and what transpired made for some of the most compelling weekly programming of the year.

Dynamite, in general, was superlative. Some segments soared higher than others but Tony Khan's cooking hasn't tasted this good in a while. Full Gear's positive energy carried through the weekend and into Wednesday night, with The Elite, House Of Black, Jamie Hayter, Orange Cassidy, and more highlighting an electric episode.

Some of the biggest things that happened on this show will spark fierce, impassioned debate. Good. That's the point. Dynamite's boldest moments were wild and provocative. Kenny Omega releasing an interview asking fans to move on from the CM Punk saga and then stoking the fires himself within 12 hours wasn't an accident.

Workers working. The essence of the sport.
