Different aesthetics are important. Not only do they prevent the onset of staleness, but they help shows feel distinct and more important, giving fans a nice little pop in the process, so kudos to AEW for flipping their usual set design for Full Gear.

Doing away with the TNA-style entrance tunnels, the promotion brought in an elevated WCW ramp, three towering video screens, and a whole bunch of gears to decorate the stage with. It looked great, and we can only hope that this leads to more unique PPV set designs as the promotion progresses.
