12 Wrestlers Without Direction For WrestleMania 33
2. Samoa Joe
Arriving in a shocking finale to the post-Royal Rumble episode of Raw, Samoa Joe has been immediately positioned as a roadblock for Seth Rollins as he prepares to take on Triple H in one of the huge contests at WrestleMania.
However, with Joe's presumed 'Fastlane' scrap with Rollins now off the table due to the unfortunately timed injury sustained by 'The Architect', it's unclear how 'The Samoan Submission Machine' will figure into plans on the big night itself.
It's possible he could be used simply to run in on behalf of 'The Game' should his battle with Rollins go ahead, but that would mark a rather underwhelming debut on the biggest stage for one of NXT's star performers from the previous two years.
Worse still, Joe could be dropped into a multi-man match, which would be a disastrous waste of his talents, particularly if he was to emerge on the losing end of the battle.
Though too soon to promote Joe into any title picture, there seems little else available, excluding a wildest dreams scenario with longstanding TNA rival and the Hall Of Fame-bound Kurt Angle. Of course, if that occurs, Joe has the potential to steal the whole show.
