12 WWE Stars You Didn't Know Were Super Intelligent

11. Jack Swagger

The €œAll American American€ himself, much like Angle, grew more than just his body while in pursuit of his amateur wrestling dreams. He successfully graduated from the University of Oklahoma back in 2006 with a bachelor€™s degree in Finance. In fact, had it not been for Jim Ross, the Head of Talent Relations at the time, Swagger would have gone full time as part of a financial firm. The day Swagger was meant to sign with the first also happened to be the day he got his WWE contract in the mail. Swagger had to made a choice between the two and went with the life of a professional wrestler. Eight years later, Swagger is still an active member of the WWE roster and continues to entertain fans around the world. Some might say that choosing to become a professional wrestler over having a safe job working in finance is pretty dumb, but for Swagger it meant that he could have a chance at being successful in a profession he loves more than anything else. And if Swagger one day decides to stop wrestling, he at least has his Finance degree as a safety net. That€™s some pretty smart thinking on the part of Mr. Swagger.
