12 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After Survivor Series 2018
12. Kurt Angle Vs. Bobby Lashley
While watching him drag his injury-ravaged body around the ring becomes increasingly difficult every time he decides to lace up the boots, Kurt Angle isn't done competing. 'The Olympic Hero' has spoken openly on his desire to run through a bucket list of "dream" opponents before he finally hangs them up. Thus, we can likely expect more matches like his recent clash with Drew McIntyre - a story-driven encounter that had the Scot literally toying with his ageing opponent.
Angle should prove a nostalgia draw at WrestleMania 35. As diminished as he is, some sects of the audience still want to see him work, even if the old magic isn't there anymore. The problem is that the rest of our card leaves him with few genuinely exciting opponents, hence why he's paired with Bobby Lashley: a pushed commodity, but a guy who has struggled to deliver between the ropes since returning.
Familiar opponents from their shared time in TNA, perhaps Angle and Lashley would be able to concoct an effect clash at 'The Showcase Of The Immortals.' Or maybe it'd stink.
Probably the latter.
