WWE wouldn't be what it is today if fans didn't have favourites. Nowadays, in contrast to how most things worked way back when, the heels are equally as popular as the babyfaces, as fans tend to judge based on character, ability to play a role, wrestling ability and charisma to make a decision on who they like and who they don't, more so than who insults them and who doesn't. A rich independent wrestling background goes a long way too, just look at the likes of Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and CM Punk. With the implementation of social media, particularly Twitter, into the weekly WWE experience, encouraging fans to follow and join the conversation using specific hashtags for the sake of getting WWE's name out there, it's only natural that fans will come across one another and engage in conversation. It's how we're all here today. We watch wrestling, we love wrestling, we create accounts, and we talk about wrestling. It's a simple process. But there are some occasions where, whether in a friendly manner, or a more aggressive, malevolent fashion, members of the WWE Universe will get some heat from their fellow fans, simply for really enjoying the work of a specific wrestler that others may not consider all that good. It's probably happened to all of us at some point. You post a tweet about a wrestler, praising them for their work in a recent match or promo, and someone responds with their reasoning behind your chosen star not being worthy of their successes. Let's journey through the twelve WWE Superstars and Divas that you get the most heat for loving. Keep in mind that you may not relate to every single one of these, perhaps in some circumstances you're the one dishing out the heat, but you should be able to identify with a few of them at least...
