Shattering the mystery behind Mysterio's 'Mania moniker...
As much as we all love WrestleMania for the, you know, wrestling, to a certain subset of fashion aficionados, the show's just as exciting for all the fancy new threads as it is the in-ring action.
New Jersey's 35th edition did not disappoint in this regard. As ever, we were treated to the usual array of bright white gear, with the likes of The Usos, Tony Nese, and Sasha Banks & Bayley all honouring the WrestleMania tradition established by Shawn Michaels 23 years ago, whilst a whole slew of superstars opted to pay their respects to the city's premier football team with a range of bright green numbers.
One in particular, was right on the nose of the Jets.
Although a few boring b*stards - mostly heels, to be fair - elected not to undergo any aesthetic changes in the MetLife Stadium, they were counterbalanced by a select group of wrestlers who went just that extra mile in selecting Sunday's wardrobe.
There was no lack of effort in the Women's Battle Royal, despite it being shunted to the pre-show, and as ever, Rey Mysterio pulled out all the stops - even if he knew his stay would be short.
And then there's The New Day's gear. The meaning behind it is something else.
