13 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (August 16)
A good list should always have Robbie E taking a Piledriver onto steel steps.
Jeff Jarrett brought his GFW roster to TNA television and the two groups collided this past week. While not a full-on invasion (yet), a few intriguing matchups resulted from that. The most dynamic of such was the most recent installment of the King of the Mountain, pitting members of both organizations against each other.
The match itself wasn't the greatest thing ever or anything, but it did provide several spots that could be described as insane. That match was the source of several of the entries on this week's list. Other insane spots include a couple of creative RKOs and a failed attempt at a powerbomb on a bull.
Like usual, the weekly shows of Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Ring of Honor, and TNA Impact are searched for the absolute most insane moves and moments to air. This is the first Lucha Underground-less week of this series, so that absence is felt big time. Even so, 13 spots were found for the list this week.
A spot can be considered insane for a variety of reasons. If it's more dangerous than the average move or more emotionally taxing, then it might make this list. There's no real science to the process but there is an effort to find the best moves and then .gif them for your pleasure. So read on and enjoy the visuals...
13. Eric Young Likes His Piledrivers
At the last King of the Mountain match, Eric Young was the source of one of the wildest spots of that event when he hit Jeff Jarrett with a piledriver onto a ladder that was propped up between the ring and the outside barrier. This time around, he was sure to not to let us down for another similar spot.
The recipient this time was Robbie E and his landing pad would be the steel steps. Young gave the last minute substitution for Drew Galloway a piledriver that probably made him reconsider jumping into this one.
