The holidays are winding down and most people are probably preparing themselves to go back to school or work. Not surprisingly, professional wrestling operates on a similar schedule. Unless it's programming from WWE's main roster, very little content was offered over the past week. WWE might've been the only game in town, but a few of their performers still delivered the goods. Kevin Owens was one such individual. Since losing the Intercontinental Championship and feeling like a certain Slammy was wrongly awarded to Neville, he's been wrecking everybody in his path. Multiple other wrestlers alongside Owens brought the high spots, creativity, and even humor in this edition of the week's most insane spots.
13. Sweet AA Reversal
Alberto Del Rio hasn't exactly been a fighting United States Champion, at least nowhere to the degree that John Cena was, so when Cena returned to Raw on Monday he challenged to get his former belt back. This was the best singles match of Del Rio's return so far. One of the cooler spots near the end was when John lifted Alberto for an Attitude Adjustment and the current champion reversed it into a Cross Armbreaker. Cena didn't submit to Del Rio, but failed to regain the title due to interference by the League of Nations. Time will tell if he will recapture it.
